Don’t Plow Campus Site
I just read about the possibility of Pierce College plowing under the one fresh area in the Valley to make room for a few so-called “elite” people to bat a ball across a piece of manicured lawn, then jump in their electric-powered car and chase it, because there is money in it.
The idea that the local money-grubbers will be able to have an excuse not to be in their offices and will up their hourly fee to pay for the club membership is wrong.
No more field trips for the children to see the livestock. Let’s remove any inspiration for them to be farmers or ranchers. The oil companies have all of that locked up. We have enough for golf courses. There are four of them that I can think of here in the Valley.
With help, this atrocity can be avoided. Let’s all work on bringing the elite down to earth.
