GM Recalls School Buses, Cars: General Motors Corp. said it is recalling about 7,500 Chevrolet and GMC model B6 and B7 school buses from the 1989-91 and 1993 model years because the vehicles could accelerate without warning. The vehicles can be stopped by using the service brake, and no accidents or injuries have been reported because of the problem, GM said. The company also said it is recalling about 7,000 Pontiac Grand Prix cars from the 1991 model year to fix headlight systems that may fail. GM said it will make all repairs free of charge at authorized dealers.
