The Region : County Fair Prices to Be Cut
The Los Angeles County Fair Assn. will lower admission and carnival ride prices for the 1993 fair at the Pomona Fairplex after customer surveys last year found dissatisfaction with prices. The association has reduced prices 20% from 1992, so that admission will be $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children age 5 and younger. A special two-day ticket will be $12 for adults and $6 for children. Admission after 5 p.m. Monday through Friday will be $5, and unlimited carnival rides Monday through Thursday will be $10. The fair will run Sept. 10-Oct. 3.
