A Difference of Opinion Over Harrick’s Situation

It’s a shame so many fellow Bruin rooters are crying about the UCLA basketball situation. This childish behavior hurts recruiting and team morale. I hope Chancellor Young remembers that the players are at UCLA to get an education, not to satisfy alumni craving for an all-victorious team.

Coach Harrick has coached the team to the NCAA tournament and is likely to do so again this year. Lighten up and let the man do the job he is under contract to do. UCLA is an educational institution, not a boiler room for future NBA stars.
