If Edward de Vere wrote Shakespeare’s plays, why did he shun the acclaim for such masterpieces? If he “was known and praised as poet and playwright,” why has history ignored him?

Moreover, De Vere died in 1604 and “King Lear,” “Macbeth,” “Antony and Cleopatra,” “Coriolanus,”, “Cymbaline,” “The Winter’s Tale” and “The Tempest” were written between 1606 and 1611, after his death!

Something is rotten in the state of Literature.
