‘Michael Jackson’ Aftermath

I wish to add my voice to the many who have been complaining about KABC-TV turning over most of its newscast to the Michael Jackson interview (“Michael Jackson Talks to Oprah,” Feb. 10, ABC). This is the most blatant use of the news division by the entertainment division I’ve ever heard of. What Paddy Chayefsky talked about in “Network” has come true. There is no longer any separation of these two units.
