Glendora : 2 ZIP Codes to Start July 1
Glendora will be divided into two ZIP code areas, effective July 1, City Councilman Marshall Mouw announced at Tuesday’s council meeting.
Mouw, a local mail carrier, said the area south of Alosta Avenue will retain the 91740 ZIP code. The new code for the sector north of Alosta will be 91741.
ZIP codes are added as city populations reach the 50,000 mark, Mouw said. When the surrounding unincorporated county area is added, Glendora’s population slightly exceeds that number, he said.
