Three tickets--purchased in Vallejo, Fullerton and Corona--correctly matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday night for the third largest “Super Lotto” pool, California Lottery officials said. Each ticket is worth $20,140,644.

Six IBM co-workers who will divide one of those tickets raced each other Thursday to tell their boss that they quit.

“We all agreed to see how fast we could get in to retire,” Glenn Lightner, 39, told the media at a state lottery office.

Lightner; William Bittner, 51, and Dan Rego, 50, gave notice at their Gardena office before 8 a.m. They and co-workers William Bergaard, 51; Thomas Robbins, 47, and Cameron MacDonald, 56, will divide $20.7 million.

The group bought 120 tickets for the drawing Wednesday night.

The owner of the second ticket, Lorenzo Cerezo, 27, of Placentia, bought his ticket at the Fullerton convenience store where he is a clerk. Cerezo, who came to California in 1990 from the Philippines, said he planned to go to college and open a business.

The owner of the third ticket, bought at a market in Vallejo, had not come forward, officials said.

Here are the numbers drawn: 5, 6, 17, 23, 36 and 49.
