Soccer’s world governing body annulled last month’s World Cup qualifying match between Egypt and Zimbabwe and ordered it replayed on March 28.

The nine-man bureau of the FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee, meeting at the FIFA World Youth Championships, said the match at Cairo was not played “under normal sporting conditions.” Zimbabwe protested Egypt’s 2-1 victory, saying its players were struck by objects thrown from the crowd in Cairo Stadium.
