Viva la Musica: The nominees for Billboard magazine’s Premio Lo Nuestro a la Musica Latina awards, which honor Latino performers in the United States and Latin America, are in. Crossover artist Jon Secada, a recent Grammy winner, tops the list with six nominations including album of the year, male artist of the year and song of the year for “Angel.” Mexican balladeer Luis Miguel, Dominican chart-topper Juan Luis Guerra y el Grupo 4:40 and the Mexican group Bronco each received five nominations. The awards, co-sponsored by the Spanish-language TV network Univision, will be hosted by comedian Paul Rodriguez on May 20 in Miami and will air on Univision.
