WHERE THE HEART IS? If you live to the north in La Habra, or to the south in Laguna Hills, you may not think that Orange County has a real “downtown.” But the editors at Sunset magazine this month have decreed “downtown” here as South Coast Metro, the business, shopping and arts center anchored at Bristol Street and the San Diego Freeway. Sunset describes it as “a place whose heart lies not in the center of a major city, but in a developers’ paradise, which not long ago was nothing more than a lonely field of lima beans.”
