Will They Return?Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet end their “Juliet Letters” tour tonight in New York City, but Costello has left the door open for future performances of the collaborative rock-meets-classical project, saying he would “consider coming to play it again” locally if presented with “the right offer, in the right sort of place.” If so, they wouldn’t lack for Southland promoters willing to book them, since officials at both the Orange County Performing Arts Center (where the Brodskys play Saturday sans Costello) and the new Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts are interested. In addition, a spokesman for the Nederlander Co., which arranged Sunday’s critically acclaimed performance at UCLA, said he would be “delighted” to have them return.
