U.S. Drug Agent Wounded

LAGOS, Nigeria —
A U.S. Drug Enforcement Agent was wounded in an attack police believe was an assassination attempt organized by Nigerian drug barons, the Concord newspaper reported Friday.
The newspaper said the agent, whose name was not immediately available, was shot in the right shoulder and his pistol, walkie talkie and radio, stolen in the attack, which took place on a busy street in a posh Lagos neighborhood.
