Tibet Hit by 6.6 Quake

BEIJING —
An earthquake measuring 6.6 hit China’s Himalayan region of Tibet on Saturday night, the New China News Agency said Sunday. It did not give any details of damage, but the area where the quake hit, near the border with Nepal, is sparsely populated.
