YOUNG AT FAULT: The city of Irvine’s traffic engineers recently took a look at what kind of vehicle accidents were taking place in the city and who was at fault. Their conclusions: There are a lot of crazy drivers out there, and often they’re pretty young. The most common accident was rear-ending someone--272 incidents--followed by running stop signs--189. . . . The worst drivers: those between 21 and 25 years old, followed by the 16-to-20 group. And 22 accidents were caused by those too young for a driver’s license.
