Two-time series champion Al Unser Jr. withdrew from the second round of the International Race of Champions at Darlington, S.C., because of a separated left shoulder.
Unser, who won the IROC overall title in the four-race series in 1986 and 1988, injured the shoulder in an accident last month during Indy car testing at Phoenix.
