Give Dan a Break

For four years, the stand-up comedians have pilloried Dan Quayle. I thought that the victory by the Democrats in the presidential election would end their jibes at him. But I was wrong. I tuned into PBS to watch Mark Russell and there he was spouting a joke about Quayle. These guys sure like to hit a man when he’s down.
