TriCare Inc. Reports $448,000 Loss

TriCare Inc., an Irvine medical services company, reported a loss of $448,000, or 6 cents a share, its third fiscal quarter. That contrasted with a profit of $856,000, or 11 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. For the quarter ended Feb. 28, revenue declined 43% to $6.5 million from $11.4 million. For the first nine months, the company lost $140,000, or 2 cents a share, contrasted with a profit of $2.7 million, or 36 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Nine-month revenue was $26.3 million, down from $35 million.
