English synth-pop band Depeche Mode’s 11th album entered the chart at No. 1, but that’s no guarantee of longevity, as two other occupants of the Top 10 demonstrate: Sting’s latest entered at No. 2 and has slipped one spot each of the last two weeks, and Jimmy Page’s long-awaited return, with Coverdale/Page, has all but dropped out of the Top 10 one week after entering at No. 5.
