ADVANCED LEARNING: Today is Grandparents Day for students at Esplanade Elementary School in Orange: Their folks’ folks get to share with youngsters how school was in their day, and pack a sack lunch for their grandchildren. It’s a popular annual event. . . . Says Sally Hughson from the PTA: “It validates how important school is to kids when their grandparents take time off to see their grandchildren’s day.”
