WEST ADAMS : Home Restoration Techniques Shown

The West Adams Heritage Assn. will hold its second annual Demonstration Day today to offer tips on restoring and repairing homes.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2231 W. 20th St. A $5 donation is requested. Techniques to be demonstrated include reglazing windows, use of a heat gun, skim coating with plaster and dry-walling, said Rory Cunningham, an association member and events coordinator.

Last year’s event was “a lot of fun plus incredibly informative,” Cunningham said.
