Camera Platforms Loses $1.09 Million in 1992

Camera Platforms International Inc., a Valencia company that sells and rents production equipment to the entertainment industry, said it lost $1.09 million in 1992, in contrast with a 1991 loss of $1.9 million. Its revenue increased 45%, to $3.85 million from $2.65 million.

The company said its 1992 results were hurt by a decrease in motion picture and television production, although it narrowed its losses from the previous year through expansion into international markets and cost reductions. It did not break out its fourth quarter financial results.
