PacifiCare of California Promotes Company Executive to the Post of President

Jeff Folick has been appointed president of PacifiCare of California, PacifiCare Health Systems’ managed-care organization in California. He succeeds Richard Lipeles, who was recently promoted to executive vice president of PacifiCare Health Systems. Folick joined PacifiCare Health Systems, based in Cypress, in 1989 as vice president of Secure Horizons of California, the company’s Medicare program. In 1991, he became president of Secure Horizons of California and, in 1992, became executive vice president and chief operating officer of PacifiCare of California.
