Tolerance Is Truest Test of Civilization
I think it’s time the pro-choice people consider legal action to bankrupt some of the Operation Rescue terrorists. They should contact Morris Dees, the civil rights lawyer who successfully sued the Ku Klux Klan into bankruptcy in Alabama a few years ago. He repeated this feat in Oregon with a judgment against Tom Metzger and his skinheads. In both cases, he argued violation of civil rights.
If the Op-Rescuers were to feel they could lose their cars, homes and other property in a civil lawsuit for violating a woman’s right to privacy and a doctor’s commercial right to conduct business, they might reconsider their tactics.
