Coming to L.A.: The media continues to converge on Los Angeles with a number of special programs related to last year’s riots and the Rodney G. King civil rights case. Among them: National Public Radio’s nationwide weekday call-in show, “Talk of the Nation” (airing locally on KPCC-FM from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.), will be produced at the First A.M.E. Church in South-Central Los Angeles next week, examining issues facing the city, with L.A. residents invited to call (213) 850-3611 to participate. In addition, rap star Ice-T, known for his song “Cop Killer,” guests via satellite on CNBC’s “Talk Live” on Saturday at 6 p.m., and Black Entertainment Television’s live talk show “Teen Summit” interviews former teen gang members, the founder of Project Peace-16 Teens Helping Teens and others on Saturday at 9 a.m.
