VIEWPOINT / LETTERS : At Last, Something Strawberry Catches: Heat From the Fans
Maybe if Darryl Strawberry played for a team with real baseball fans, he would have caught that decisive homer. Where I come from, if a visitor’s ball was headed for the stands, not only would we get out of the way, we’d throw it back in play if the likes of Mr. Strawberry missed the catch.
I guess we take our baseball a little differently back at Wrigley Field, especially if it’s opening day against the Cardinals.
