Computer Fair Set at Fullerton College

Computer users are invited to attend free workshops and a swap meet-style exposition today.

About 100 computer vendors, club representatives and repair people will be on hand to answer questions at the North Orange County Computer Club’s 29th annual Computer Fair.

The event will be held at Fullerton College from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Organizers said that money raised from vendors will help fund a $3,000 scholarship for a Chapman University computer science student, and $500 will go to the university’s library.

Fair-goers are encouraged to participate in workshops that will teach them how to install various programs, update systems and fix computers.

Representatives from computer clubs throughout Orange County will attend the fair to recruit members.
