Laser Precision Corp.: The San Juan Capistrano maker of test and measurement instruments and systems posted a first-quarter profit of $17,000, or less than 1 cent a share, contrasted with a loss of $126,000, or 3 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue increased 28% to $5.9 million from $4.6 million.
