Zoe Baird Named to Intelligence Board

WASHINGTON —
President Clinton has named Zoe Baird to an intelligence advisory board because “she’s competent and qualified,” even though she has no expertise on intelligence matters, the White House said Friday.
Baird, a corporate lawyer, will serve on the President’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board, a 12-member panel headed by retired Adm. William J. Crowe.
