Santa Ana Man Dies After Shooting
A 28-year-old man who was shot in the head Sunday died after he was found in an alley east of the 1000 block of South Standard Avenue, police said.
Police believe robbery may have been the motive, said Santa Ana Police Sgt. Dick Faust.
Police responded to a shooting in the alley shortly after 7 a.m. and found Fidel Cruz Robles of Santa Ana, who was wounded. Robles was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where he died, Faust said.
The man was shot with a handgun and there apparently were no witnesses, he said.
