Sentenced: A federal judge has sentenced Allen Spivak, vice president of the concert promotion company Electric Factory Concerts, to six months in prison and another six months of supervised home confinement for a scheme that stole money from some of the biggest names in rock. He was also fined $200,000. A second defendant, Sidney Payne, was sentenced to two months in a halfway house, community service and a fine of $30,000. Electric Factory was fined $450,000. The company and the two men had pleaded guilty to mail fraud between 1987 and 1990. They acknowledged overcharging by more than $900,000 performers including Paul McCartney, Madonna, U2 and the Rolling Stones.
