Golden West 7, Fullerton 5--David Vergara shut out Fullerton (14-23, 4-16) through the first six innings and struck out eight to earn the victory for Golden West, which ended a 13-game conference losing streak. Golden West is 10-19-1, 4-14-1.

Saddleback 7, Riverside 6 (11 innings)--Jerry Apana’s bad-hop single in the bottom of the 11th inning drove in Bo Haley with the winning run. Justin Drizos had two RBIs and Neil Garcia hit a single-season school-record 14th double for Saddleback (27-10, 12-8). Riverside is 25-13, 11-9.
