$2-Million Gift to Music Academy of the West

The Santa Barbara-based Music Academy of the West has received a $2-million gift from local resident Pierre Claeyssens. The gift sets up the Cynthia Wood Memorial Fund (in memory of Claeyssens’ stepdaughter).
The gift brings the Claeyssens’ family contributions to the academy to more than $5 million in the past five years.
