15 Die in Blast at Garbage Dump

ISTANBUL, Turkey —
Methane gas exploded at a garbage dump Wednesday, triggering an avalanche of refuse that buried squatter huts and killed at least 15 people. Up to 100 people are believed trapped.
Rescue workers dug out two survivors from the garbage. But hopes dimmed that more would be found.
