Mattel Inc. has promoted Ned Mansour to senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, reporting to John Amerman, Mattel’s chairman and chief executive.

Most recently, Mansour, 44, was vice president and associate general counsel for the El Segundo-based toy maker.
