Right Start to Open Outlet in Laguna Hills

Right Start Inc., which sells children’s clothing and products mainly by mail order, said it will expand its retail operations by opening new outlets in Laguna Hills and Atlanta.

Right Start expects to open a 5,000-square-foot store in Laguna Hills in July. The store will be modeled after the company’s flagship Right Start Store next to its Westlake Village corporate headquarters.

Right Start said it also signed an agreement with Rich’s, a 13-department-store chain owned by Cincinnati-based Federated Department Stores Inc., to open a second Right Start outlet in a Rich’s store in Atlanta.

The first Rich’s Right Start outlet opened last August. If the second Rich’s outlet is successful, Right Start said it will open two more in other Rich’s stores in time for the Christmas selling season.
