CHECK IT OUT: The heated contract dispute pitting Buena Park’s police and firefighters against the City Council is starting to include spouses. The firefighters’ leader, David Dorn, told the council this week that at his house “we know the effects of the recession firsthand”: His wife Nancy has had to give up her “fun money” checking account to help him pay the bills. “The fun is gone,” Dorn said. . . .
