Poetry Prize

The apprehensive “What will it be now?” feeling with which I’ve been approaching reading of the day’s local and global news lately was suddenly obliterated by the delight of finding a glowing jewel of a real life love story (“Love Is This: A Poetry of Bliss, a Prize Inspired,” April 27) right in the middle of the front page!

Kingsley and Kate Tufts seem to have had an idyllic, romance-filled marriage and vowed to extend some of their joy to others. Thank you for giving a story about enduring love and altruism the prominence it deserves . . . now more than ever.
