So, What’s Actually Wrong With Dodgers? To the Fans, It’s Claire

Want to get some sparkle in the Dodgers and perhaps win some games?

Well, first, get rid of Fred Claire. His only claim to fame is the fact that he gets players who are over the hill. Second, get rid of Strawberry and Davis, and bring up some of the young players from Albuquerque who really want to play baseball, not cry about aches and pains, long plane rides, cold weather, and Astroturf. How about the other players who suffer from the same things?

Don’t blame Lasorda: He can’t bat and run the bases, he tries everything he can.

By the way, it was great to see the April 18 article on Brett Butler. We need more like him and less of those who run off at the mouth and not the bases.
