A Response to Protest Outside Doctor’s House

I have a suggestion for those readers who got angry reading “Abortion Foes Picket Palos Verdes Estates Home” (South Bay Section, April 15), describing the harassment that physician Myung Rha has undergone by Christians picketing his home, accusing him of killing babies. Find out which churches these misfits go to, and picket them on Sunday mornings.

Religion has had a free ride in this society for too long. Churches allow their followers to be as immoral as they please, but insist that they themselves must be held above criticism. When the clergy find their collection plates growing lighter due to pickets, boycotts and demonstrations, they will announce quickly enough that God has told them that abortions are OK.
