Share

Simi Valley police Monday recovered about a third of the computer equipment stolen from a city freight company last week, authorities said.

Tipped to the location of the stolen goods by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Cargo Criminal Apprehension Team, Simi Valley detectives and deputies found the stolen equipment and booty from other truck hijackings in a locked Gardena warehouse.

No one was present in the warehouse at the time of the raid, and no arrests were made, Simi Valley Detective Tom Marshall said.
