SIDESHOW: Look for a six-ring circus at the Ventura County Fairgrounds today--five under the Big Top and one outside, where Animal Emancipation Inc. will be protesting the treatment of animals. “They perform out of fear,” spokeswoman Denise Ford said. The event’s sponsor, Ventura’s Downtown Improvement District, hasn’t heard of any cruelty, President Ed Warren said. “I can’t imagine they would abuse them. They’re very expensive.”
