A Costa Mesa-based developer has purchased a 20-acre parcel in northeast Thousand Oaks where it plans to build 76 single-family houses.

Standard Pacific purchased the property from the Lang Ranch Co. of Thousand Oaks. The land at Parkview Drive and Knightsbridge Avenue has already been approved for development.

Steve Boggs of Standard Pacific said the developer plans to begin grading next month and have model houses open in February. Boggs said the houses will range from 1,655 to 2,557 square feet and sell for more than $250,000.
