Well, It’s About Time

The latest hot girl group, SWV, has steadily climbed to No. 7 on The Times’ Southern California chart with its “It’s About Time” album. A sales boost has come from two hot singles: “I’m So Into You” and the current “Weak,” now No. 4 on the pop singles chart. Don’t be surprised if Janet Jackson pulls a Whitney Houston with “That’s the Way Love Goes” and camps on top of the pop singles chart for many weeks. Reba McEntire is back on top of the area’s country chart, reflecting sales generated by her recent local concert.
