LA HABRA : Composite Released of Carjacking Suspect

Police on Friday released a composite drawing of a woman, who with a male accomplice is suspected of carjacking, robbing and kidnaping two women this week.

The attack began at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Harbor and La Habra boulevards and ended three hours later near the Mexican border when they pushed the women out of the car after robbing them of jewelry at knifepoint, police said.

The female suspect is described as 30 to 40 years old with shoulder-length dark hair which she wore in a ponytail.

She was also wearing a stud earring in her right nostril.

The male suspect is described as 30 to 40 with dark wavy hair, a thick mustache, high cheekbones and a pockmarked face.

Police have not yet been able to complete a composite drawing of him.

The suspects were last seen driving north on the Santa Ana Freeway in one of the victim’s cars: a 1979 Chevrolet Caprice station wagon which had tinted rear windows.

The car’s license number is 342WWB.
