Once again, strong evidence that touring boosts album sales, as Sting’s “Ten Summoner’s Tales” moved to the top of the Times’ Southern California album chart after his recent local dates. Wynonna Judd’s second solo album, “Tell Me Why,” made a strong debut at No. 4. Janet Jackson’s “That’s the Way Love Goes’ is still the top single, setting the stage for her new album, certain to take over the No. 1 spot upon arrival next week. On the hard rock scene, classic artists Queen (No. 9) and Jimi Hendrix (No. 10) are vying with the top current acts.
