New Turner Offerings: Turner Broadcasting System is developing plans for a new Cable News Network international news channel and a new commercial-free entertainment channel that will offer classic movies. Speaking to reporters in Detroit, Ted Turner, TBS chairman, said the CNN international channel may be marketed in the United States by the end of the year, and the movie channel in the “not-too-distant future.”
