BASEBALL DAILY REPORT : AROUND THE MAJORS : Arrest Warrant Issued for Hatcher
A family court judge in Houston has issued an arrest warrant for Boston Red Sox outfielder Billy Hatcher after he failed to appear at a court hearing in a child custody dispute.
The warrant was issued Tuesday by Judge Bob Robertson after Hatcher did not appear at the hearing on a contempt motion.

New York Yankee outfielder Danny Tartabull was released Tuesday from Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and is now resting at home in New Jersey with a contusion of the right kidney, suffered in Monday’s game.
He will be re-evaluated today. It is uncertain how long he will be sidelined.
