HOLLYWOOD PARK : Favored Potridee Wins Feature Race

Potridee led all the way in winning Thursday’s $50,000 feature race at Hollywood Park by eight lengths over Storm Dove.

Potridee, the 11-10 favorite ridden by Chris McCarron, covered 1 1/16 miles on the turf course in 1:39 3/5 and paid $4.20, $2.80 and $2.20.

The victory was the fourth in six starts for Potridee and was worth $27,500, raising the 4-year-old Argentine-bred daughter of Potrillazo’s career earnings to $214,569.

Storm Dove, ridden by Gary Stevens, crossed the finish line 1 1/4 lengths ahead of Liztoane and returned $3 and $2.40.

Liztoane, ridden by Goncalino Almeida, was 2 3/4 lengths in front of Polish Style at the wire and paid $2.80 to show.

Each of the first three finishers carried 115 pounds. Following Polish Style across the finish line in the allowance race for older fillies and mares were Lovealoch, Ken De Saron and Palomelle. There were no scratches.
