Formal confirmation that Dennis Stanfill is leaving as co-chief executive of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer is expected as early as today.

MGM planned to announce his departure from the studio last Thursday, but a board meeting in Paris, where MGM parent Credit Lyonnais is based, was delayed several times, sources said.

As previously reported, Stanfill’s departure will leave MGM’s other co-chief executive, Alan Ladd Jr., solely in charge.
